From Concept to Completion

A man wearing a gray hoodie and a helmet is working with a long piece of wood or metal on a workbench outside a workshop. The workshop has signs for Connecticut Signcraft and the Connecticut Signcraft Office. There are various tools and supplies on the workbench, including a red cordless drill, a black water bottle, and some smaller tools. A red pickup truck is parked nearby, and the background shows leafless trees and parts of the workshop building.

We manage every stage of your signage project with precision—so you get a clean build, a clean install, and results that hold up. Connecticut Signcraft is a family-owned shop in Naugatuck, CT, established in 1977, with in-house fabrication, installation, and service support.

SITE SURVEY

A sign should be measured and planned before it’s built—so you don’t get surprises at install. Our site survey confirms dimensions, placement, mounting surfaces, access, and requirements (including electrical considerations for illuminated signs).

DESIGN & CONSULTATION

Sign-first design is different from screen design. We build layouts that read from the road and translate cleanly into fabrication. We help you choose the right sign type, size it correctly, and design it so it fabricates clean.

PERMITTING & VARIANCE

Sign rules vary by town—and many properties have their own sign criteria. Permitting can be simple, or it can slow a project down if nobody plans for it. We help you navigate requirements early so your project stays compliant and moving.

SIGN FABRICATION

Fabrication is where sign quality is won or lost. We build signs in-house so we can control the details—materials, fit, finish, and reliability—before anything goes on a building.

SIGN INSTALLATION

Installation is where alignment, mounting, sealing, and final finish details matter. We install commercial signage with planning and care—so it looks straight, stays secure, and holds up over time.

SIGN REPAIR & SERVICE

When a sign goes out, it doesn’t just look bad—it makes the business look closed. We provide commercial sign repair and maintenance to keep signage working, readable, and professional.
